Market Stands

Market stand built for Gray and Hound using birch plywood with walnut-stained pine trim. Features a laser-cut logo and signage on a clean front panel. Designed to be sturdy, portable, and visually aligned with the brand for market and pop-up use.

Moss River Table

The Moss River Table begins with a massive solid wood slab, preserving the natural edge, growth rings, and quiet imperfections earned over decades. Carved through its center, a winding “river” reveals a moss-lined channel a miniature forest floor suspended within the wood’s history.

Hand-shaped contours follow the organic flow of the grain, while subtle detailing (like the small bridge crossing the moss bed) invites closer inspection.

Live Edge Desk

Handcrafted from locally sourced Oregon black walnut, this live edge desk is both a functional workspace and a sculptural statement. Thoughtfully shaped to wrap around the user. The flowing grain, natural edges, and rich tones reflect the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, grounding your work in nature and intention. Designed not just for productivity, but for presence and inspiration.

More about DuskWood PNW

I’m Mike , the hands, eyes, and heart behind DuskWoodPNW. I didn’t come into woodworking through a traditional path. I started with a 3D printer in a small apartment, chasing the thrill of making things from scratch. That curiosity took me into engineering, where I worked professionally in porcelain additive manufacturing, and later into CNC machining. But it was wood , raw, real, imperfectly perfect , that pulled me in for good.

I’m a self-taught woodworker who’s learned through countless hours of trial, error, and obsession. My small shop is where ideas become objects, where I get to shape something lasting from a material that’s already lived a long life. I build with intention, sourcing local and sustainably harvested wood whenever possible, and designing pieces that feel both grounded and distinct.

When I’m not in the shop, I’m out exploring the Pacific Northwest, the forests, coastlines, and textures of this region inspire much of what I create. I take pride in the details, in listening closely to what clients are really asking for, and in crafting furniture that tells a story.

Whether it's a custom commission or a one-off piece, I’m here to make something meaningful , something that reflects both the natural beauty of the wood and the purpose it’s meant to serve in your life.
